I am an independent travel writer and photographer.
For 30 years, I worked as a sales and marketing professional in the airline and lifestyle industries. My colourful career saw me living in London, Dubai, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Sydney, Queenstown, Singapore, Beijing and Hong Kong. As a result, I am a true citizen of the world.
In 2008, I decided to leave big business and put my pen and camera into action.
I travel frequently and have a home base in London for the summer and Koh Samui, Thailand for the winter. I also spend at least a month in the year in Cape Town, South Africa.
Writing travel features and taking photographs has become my passion, especially with regards to sustainable tourism. I love environmental portraiture.
I enjoy challenging the status quo in my articles and look for angles that promote healthy debate. Wherever I travel I try to open the discussion on sustainable tourism in that destination.
